A doula or childbirth educator nurtures, facilitates and celebrates
mothers and fathers as they grow into parenthood. Mothers prepare
for the journey of birth, gathering resources and strength like a desert
flower preparing to bloom. Fathers, too, get ready to nurture and
care in new ways.
Sarah Carter, certified doula and childbirth mentor-in-training,
provides childbirth classes in Salt Lake and Utah counties. These
classes are based on the principles of Birthing From Within and are
available both on regular schedules and special private classes.
