“It is Hunger that awakens the Huntress archetype, that motivates the instinct to hunt. What is it the Huntress (expectant parent, mentor, etc) hungers for? It is That that she will hunt. If the parent-huntress hungers for truth and for knowledge, then she will find herself in the Hunting Ground of the Heart. She will hunt courage, mindfulness, allies in her ancestors and Guides--she will explore her instincts and her Mind and the supposed boundaries of it. And if she is smart, she will plan to meet the weather, obstacles, bring along snake bite antidote, insect repellant and a "way out", an exit plan (a how and when to leave the hunting ground) based on factors such as weather, supplies, endurance. . .”
